Template:Import Template:Infobox Biography James Alan Irvine (born 12 July 1958), known as Alan Irvine, is a Scottish former footballer and the current manager of West Bromwich Albion in the Premier League.

Irvine played for five different clubs in Scotland and England during a 15-year playing career.

He then became a coach, assisting David Moyes at Preston North End and then Everton. Irvine subsequently became a manager in his own right, working for Preston and Sheffield Wednesday before signing as manager for West Bromwich Albion on 14 June 2014 after 3 years in charge of Everton Academy.
