Club career[]

Liam Brady's long-serving right-hand man, David is integral to the youth system's smooth running. It's a setup he knows better than most, having progressed through it himself en route to making a first-team debut for the Gunners in 1962.
He proceeded to play 175 league games for Arsenal, primarily in midfield, and served the Club for over a decade before further stints at Luton Town and Brentford. He returned to the Gunners in 1996, via a spell working in the financial sector, when Liam Brady took the Academy reins - and his remit is a wide one, watching games, overseeing training and working closely with the Club's young players.
David and Liam work together to ensure that Arsenal's youth setup remains broad, sophisticated and at the cutting edge both internationally and at home.
